We’re looking for Future Leaders in Manufacturing Operations and Quality
Are you a graduate with strong problem-solving and influencing skills and a keen interest in production, quality, and supply challenges? If so, in this role, you will help us get vaccines & medicines to people in 90% of the world’s countries.
In this highly scientific function we manufacture, formulate, fill, pack, control, release and deliver vaccines & medicines safely using cutting-edge technology. It’s vital work that touches on four very different activities: manufacturing operations, technical services, quality and supply chain management.
There are new challenges that can arise each day. These include transporting delicate biological materials that need special handling, overseeing quality throughout the manufacturing process, as well as managing a complex supply chain to ensure that medicines & vaccines are received exactly when they’re needed.

You will have 3 stretching rotations that will give you an insightful experience into the manufacturing side of our Vaccines & Pharmaceutical business. Through these, you’ll develop your expertise in production, quality and technical services or supply chain management, while also broadening your global business perspective.

What are the requirements?
You’ll need:
- a Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant discipline
- a keen interest in production, quality, and supply challenges
- fluent English plus fluency in your home site language
- a passion for science and technology, as well as people management and teamwork
- a keen interest in the healthcare industry
- the ability to build trust and relationships with key stakeholders
- eagerness to work with others and learn how to lead a team
- a high degree of flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to change
- to be process-driven with good technical ability

Quality Science

Are you an ambitious, driven, and adaptable science graduate inspired to further the impact of pharmaceuticals & vaccines on the world? Look no further. Here, you’ll embark on a three-year rotational programme that will enable you to gain brand new insights and further your interest in pharmaceuticals.
What can you expect?
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- develop through three stretching rotations over three years, each of which will give you broad experience and an excellent career foundation
- benefit from a personal training budget to support your development
- be part of a huge global network that supplies billions of packs of medicines and healthcare products every year
- spend time in a quality testing laboratory at one of our manufacturing sites
- developing a solid foundation in the skills of the trade
- learn about raw material, finished product, sterility, and environmental testing
- learn about quality control at our sites
- learning how the different elements of the process interact and how to make smart decisions to ensure the quality of our products is always preserved
- work with our external support team, or with local operating companies to launch new products or testing methods
- build your knowledge of our medicines and dosage forms as well as your industry regulatory knowledge
What are the requirements?

- a degree in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biomedical sciences, Biology, Chemistry (preferably with Biology modules) or a related field of study

Logistics & Supply Chain

Are you a motivated organised and proactive graduate with good problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a can-do attitude? If so, you could be the perfect addition to our Logistics & Supply Chain team.
Develop your career
Over three rotations, our Future Leaders graduate programme will challenge and support you to grow professionally and personally. You’ll have stretching rotations in business-critical roles that offer amazing insights into our end-to-end logistics & supply chain. You’ll learn how to deliver optimum value to the business and outstanding products to our patients.

- develop your knowledge of pharmaceutical supply chain management
- understand how our factories work to deliver quality products to our patient
Your rotations may include:
- Logistics, planning & scheduling roles to help us make and deliver the right products at the right time
- bringing new products to the market from R&D through manufacturing to distribution and to the patient
- managing multi-disciplined teams
- optimising the performance of our existing processes by driving continuous improvement and data analytics projects
